Pins we make

We machine precision pins and dowel pins to customer drawings. Dimensions, material and treatments follow the drawing. Grooves, chamfers, steps and knurled sections are produced in the same turning, grinding and knurling workshops as our shafts.

Every pin is made to order. We do not sell standard catalogue stock.

Materials and treatments

Please state the material grade, standard and condition on your inquiry, together with any heat treatment and surface treatment. Each option is confirmed for the specific part and material during review.

Quality and documentation

Pins are inspected against your drawing and inspection plan. Camera sorting covers 100% of the defined appearance and dimension items. PPAP and Cpk analysis can be provided by project.

Do you make standard dowel pins from stock?

No. We make pins to your drawing. Please send the drawing and quantities for review and a quotation.

Can you make a pin from a sample?

Yes, you can send existing samples for our engineers to evaluate, together with the material, quantity and application. An evaluation is not a commitment to price or manufacture.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Our usual minimum is 2,000 pieces per part, samples excluded. Special materials, structures and quantities are reviewed by sales and engineering.
