Grooved Shafts
Custom shafts with circumferential grooves, made to customer drawings. Define the groove geometry and its position alongside the shaft diameters, ends and mating requirements for quotation.
View detailsPrecision micro shafts, motor shafts, gear shafts and worm shafts, turned and ground to your drawing for OEM assemblies.

Examples show different features, not standard model numbers. Your final specification follows the reviewed drawing.

Custom stepped shafts with shoulders and collars, made to your drawing. Specify the relationship between each diameter and shoulder so we can review the complete part before quoting.
View detailsWe manufacture non-standard precision micro shafts to customer drawings and samples. Typical parts include:
Every shaft is made to order. We do not sell standard catalogue stock.
Turning and grinding cover the common features of small precision shafts:
Heat treatment and surface treatment are arranged to your specification.
For motor assemblies we control the key diameters and surface requirements specified on your drawing. Send the drawing together with your assembly requirements so that engineering can review them before quoting.

Steel shafts are made from wire coil or bar stock, including carbon, alloy, bearing, free-cutting and stainless steels. Aluminium 6061-T6 is also processed. Please state the grade, standard and condition on your inquiry.
Heat treatment options include oil quenching, high-frequency quenching, carburising, vacuum and mesh-belt furnace treatment. Surface treatment options include nickel plating, zinc plating, passivation, phosphating, black coating and anodising. Each option is confirmed for the specific part and material.
Parts are inspected against your drawing and inspection plan for dimensions, appearance, material, hardness, roughness and treatment requirements. Camera sorting covers 100% of the defined appearance and dimension items. PPAP and Cpk analysis can be provided by project; please list the documents you need when you ask for a quote.
The limits are not achievable together. Feasible combinations depend on structure, material and length-to-diameter ratio and are confirmed by engineering review of your drawing.
No. The parts shown are examples of our custom work. We make shafts to your drawing, so please send the drawing and quantities for review and a quotation.
Your drawing, material grade, quantities per order and per year, key tolerances, surface roughness, heat and surface treatment, target date and any quality documents you require.
You can send existing samples for our engineers to evaluate, together with the material, quantity and application. An evaluation is not a commitment to price or manufacture.
For reference, samples take about 2 weeks and production about 4 weeks. The confirmed lead time depends on the drawing, material, process and scheduling and is stated on the order confirmation.
Connect the part geometry with the manufacturing route, inspection plan and quotation requirements.
Part, quantity, application and requirements. You receive an inquiry reference straight away.
Send drawings or files to [email protected] and quote the reference.
We check manufacturability and reply with questions or a quotation.
